ALPINE, N.J. – Alpine just made a list of the 100 priciest zip codes in the United States.

Homes within Alpine’s 07620 zip code had a median sale price of $1,775,000 during 2017, according to a list released by Propertyshark.com.

That puts the Bergen County borough at number 50 in the United States.

The only other New Jersey zip code to make the list was Short Hills’ 07078, which came in at number 93.

The priciest zip code went to Atherton in San Mateo County California. The median sale price for a home there was $4,950,000.

Property Shark compiled its annual rankings based on closed sales recorded in official records.
