You can help rescue sexually abused child, FBI says

DO YOU KNOW THESE MEN? The FBI is hoping a series of photos helps end a decade-long search for a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation case that is focusing, in part, on New Jersey.

David Velazquez, acting Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI’s Newark Field Office, asked that people look at the images in the hope that someone will recognize either of two unknown men.

“[I]t appears they have been in contact with the victim and can assist the FBI with identification efforts,” Velazquez said.

The first “John Doe” has dark hair and glasses and is believed to be between 25 and 35.

The second, also with dark hair, is believed to be between 35 and 45.

Also included is a shot of a “New Market” t-shirt that the FBI has been able to connect to several areas along the East Coast — including Middlesex County — as well as in the Midwest.

A home with what appears to be yellow siding and an above-ground swimming pool is also visible.

“If recognized, these items could also assist in providing valuable information” leading to the child’s location, Velazquez said.

Images of the boy being photographed in sexually explicit positions have been collected by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children since February 2003, “and are still being circulated in numerous child pornography forums across the Internet,” Velazquez said.

Anyone with information that could help in the “Operation Rescue Me” case is asked to contact a local FBI office or: 1-800-CALL-FBI
