Officers stopped 60-year-old Kevenne U. Parchment at the lower-level toll plaza Thursday morning because it didn't have a front license plate, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.

After discovering that Parchment didn't have a registration for the car, officers learned that the rear plate had been reported stolen from Heim Auto Auction in Newburgh, N.Y. in February 2016.

Parchment, of Tannersville, was processed and released pending a July 11 hearing in Municipal Court on charges of receiving stolen property and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
