Donna Farrell, 54, punched the employee who’d chased after her Friday outside the H-Mart on Broad Avenue, Capt. Scott Tamagny said.

Officer John Longo found Farrell in a park a few blocks from the market and arrested her after she admitted taking the items, Tamagny said.

Farrell was released pending a court hearing on robbery charges.
