Born in Teaneck, Luppino was a self-employed contractor and home developer. He was a Paramus Catholic High School graduate and member of its alumni association. He was an officer and annual feast president of the St. Rocco Society, in Fort Lee. He loved coaching sports in Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs.
He is survived by his children, Vincenzo, Francesca and Angelina Luppino; parents Frances (Barila) and Vincenzo Luppino; siblings Joseph and and his wife Carmela, and Carmela Sciglitano and her husband Joseph; girlfriend April Lanza; nephews and niece Vincent Joseph, Antonina and Santino Luppino, and Vincent, Joseph and Anthony Sciglitano; and many family and friends, here and in Italy and Australia.
Visiting hours will be from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., in Cliffside Park. The funeral is from the funeral home on Monday, March 14, at 10 a.m., thence to Madonna Church in Fort Lee, for a 11 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum, in Fort Lee.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 529 College Fund for Luppino's children. Checks should be payable to Frances Luppino, c/o Carmela Luppino, 88 Dillingham Place, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632.
