FORT LEE, N.J. -- The winter Palisade hiking program will conclude Sunday afternoon, March 6, with a hike that begins at "Cliffhanger Point."
Hikers will meet at 1 p.m. in the Visitor Center, Fort Lee Historic Park.
Covering less than two miles on easy trails, the hike will take participants past the site of the fabled Riviera nightclub and on to “Cliffhanger Point."
On the return hike, hikers may take an optional stroll with the group out onto the George Washington Bridge walkway, to enjoy the spectacular view offered from that location.
The Historic Park entrance is off Hudson Terrace just south of the George Washington Bridge (directions). The normal metered parking fee at the site will be waived for hike participants that arrive by the hike’s 1 p.m. start time.
