With "too good of an opportunity to pass up," Moussavian of Englewood bought the 1,300-square-foot shop last November when he heard the former owner was looking to get out.
He closed it down for renovations before reopening as "Bagel N' More" early this month, retaining the former shop's staff — who seem to know what they're doing.
"These people have been making bagels for over 15 years," said Moussavian, 52. "They know how it is done."
Bagel N' More offers 11 different types of bagels and eight different types of cream cheese. There is also fresh coffee, omelettes and deli meats, as well as a variety of lunch items like salads, soups, paninis, wraps, and burgers.
Moussavian — formerly a jeweler — has a dream to franchise Bagel N' More.
"To have numerous locations would be amazing," said Moussavian, who will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce next week. "I think we can do it because we have the best bagels."
Bagel & More is located at 1040 River Road and opens at 6 a.m. daily.
