Kids Gear Up For New Season Of Fort Lee Basketball

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Boys basketball registration for grades 2-8 has begun at the Fort Lee Community Center.

In-person registration is scheduled for Thursday, as well as Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 7-9 p.m. both days. The late registration date is Thursday, Oct. 22.

The regular fees are $110, those increase to $150 for late registrations.

Third- through eighth-grade girls may sign up from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and Oct. 13-15 at the Fort Lee Community Center. The fee is $110.

There also are open clinics available for all players. Members can be a part of The Honors Club -- a program that encourages payers to excel in school. Fifth- through eighth-grade students who receive straight A's receive acknowledgement from the league and a special notice on the website.
