Fort Lee School Budget Would Raise Taxes By $147 Per Home

FORT LEE, N.J. -- A proposed budget approved by the Fort Lee Board of Education would increase taxes on the average home owner by $147 a year, according to NorthJersey.com.

The $69.1 million spending plan is an increase of $4.3 million and hits the mandated 2 percent cap on levy increases, NorthJersey.com reported. 

A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held on Monday, April 25, NorthJersey.com said.
