Fort Lee High's Thespian Society Presents Sondheim Musical

FORT LEE, N.J. -- “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” is being produced by the International Thespian Society Troupe at Fort Lee High School.

Performances for the public take place Thursday, April 21, Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in the Fort Lee High School Auditorium.  

The story is set in ancient Rome, where three houses stand together, and in the center lives a family, and their slave. Pseudolus dreams of becoming a free man, and will do whatever it takes, including facing the wrath of the captain next door. 

The show is written by playwrights Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics composed by Stephen Sondheim. 

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. Seating is General Admission.
