Election Results: Dems Hang On To Seats In Fort Lee, Leonia, Pal. Park

Fort Lee voters re-elected the democrats to the two open council seats. The BOE candidates ran unopposed.

Here's a closer look at the results of the 2016 Election in Fort Lee, Leonia and Palisades Park (click here for county results).

Fort Lee Council

Democrats are hanging on to the council seats in Fort Lee. Peter J. Suh and Ila Kasofsky each earned 33% of votes in Fort Lee. They ran against republicans Nadeem Akda and John S. Damato.

Fort Lee BOE

Paula Colbath*, Candace Romba* and Jeremy Weinberg vied unopposed for the three BOE seats. Weinberg earned the majority of the votes at 38%.

Leonia Council

Democrats will claim the open seats on the Leonia Council. Incumbent Bernadette Flaim will be joined by William N. Zielger.

Leonia BOE

All three candidates ran unopposed. Bryce Robbins, Mary Albanese and Archer Irby will claim the open BOE seats.

Palisades Park Council

Democratic incumbents Henry Ruh and Christopher Chung will be hanging on to their seats on the Palisades Park Council.
