The 56-year-old woman told police she first saw him masturbating in a parking lot directly across from the laundry room a week ago yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon, she said, he approached her in the laundry room.
He “tried to engage her in conversation,” asking about a clothes dryer, and when she went to reply, she recognized him from the previous incident,” New Milford Police Chief Frank Papapietro said. “She then observed the suspect standing with his pants slightly down and his penis purposely exposed.”
The stranger took off, she said, and she called 911 on her cellphone, the chief said.
She described the man as roughly 25 to 30 years old, having a slender to medium build, 5-foot-10-inches to 6 feet tall, and darkly complected, with spots and bumps on both sides of his face.
She said he had closely cropped curly black hair and stubble on his chin. He was wearing a Navy sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and dark narrow sunglasses, the woman told police.
Lt. John O’Malley requested a Bergen County Police K-9 Unit to assist with a search of the area after receiving the woman’s call. They were joined by NMPD Detective Lt. Frank Ramaci and Officers George Herrero and Richard Giacobone, Jr.
Papatrietro included a warning with the release of the sketch:
“Although there was no physical contact with the victim, women are urged to use caution when doing wash alone,” he said. “Be sure someone knows where you are and if possible have someone with you when using laundry rooms.”
If you see anyone suspicious, he said, don’t hesitate to call police.
