A judge doubled bail for Ramon J. Contreras to $200,000 after the charges were brought by the Special Victims Unit of Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal's office.
The SVU originally arrested Contreras after Palisades Park police received a report on Tuesday that a sexual assault of a child occurred at a home in the borough on Sunday.
Detectives then found another girl, who they said was under 13 when she was abused.
Contreras remained held in the Bergen County Jail -- with counts of sexual assault and child endangerment doubled.
