Nube D. Toalongo was targeted for investigation through an ongoing fraud initiative by state authorities after she used the out-of-state license to obtain a valid New Jersey one at the MVC facility in Lodi, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

In doing so, she was able to duck road and written tests, he said.

Detectives from his office arrested Toalongo at her home on charges of theft and tampering with public records, the prosecutor said. She was released on a summons pending a May 31 first appearance in Central Judicial Court in Hackensack, he said.
