Police hauled off nearly 30 pounds of pot while shutting down a distribution center that they said was operating out of a private home on Elsmere Place in Fort Lee. Investigators had been watching the house when they stopped a car nearby and found four pounds of marijuana hidden inside, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
They arrested the driver, a Florida man, then hit the house.
Two more people were taken into custody, including a resident there, and 25 more pounds of pot was seized, the prosecutor said.
All are being held on various bails at the Bergen County Jail.
