Upset over having to wait to see a judge, 22-year-old Marlon J. Ortiz of North Bergen was "screaming obscenities just outside the courtroom doors" and then tried heading back into the courtroom when Port Authority Police Officer Fred Corrubia and a colleague approached him, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

Corrubia "told the suspect him he was being placed under arrest [when he] ulled away and ran into the courthouse's parking lot," Pentangelo said.

The officers chased and grabbed him, he said.

Ortiz was charged with contempt of court, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was ordered held on $2,500 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
