Photos: Minor injury for firefighter in Palisades Park rooftop factory blaze

PHOTOS: A firefighter was hospitalized with a minor injury during a smoky rooftop blaze that was quickly brought under control at a Palisades Park factory this afternoon.

Waste from a rooftop ventilation unit apparently ignited at Delta Corrugated Paper on West Ruby Avenue around 2:30 p.m., drawing several area fire companies and police from the borough and neighboring Ridgefield.

The blaze was declared under control less than 45 minutes later.

Fort Lee, Leonia and Ridgefield firefighters assisted.
