Little Falls police found the 24-year-old Clifton victim “unresponsive, breathing slowly and displaying a slow pulse” just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Little Falls Police Chief Steven Post said in a joint release Wednesday.

They administered two doses, and he “became responsive and alert,” Valdes and Post said.

An EMS unit took over from there, they said.

Totowa police made a similar save just after 5 p.m. Monday in Wayne. They administered a single Narcan dose, and the 29-year-old victim "became responsive but remained sedated," Valdes and Totowa Police Chief Robert W. Coyle said Wednesday.

EMS workers brought him to an area hospital, they said.
