Thanks to license plate number provided by a witness, Leonia detectives found the getaway car on Staten Island earlier today — with two of their suspects inside, Capt. Scott Tamagny told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Andres Wine & Spirits, Broad Avenue

Nikyia Smith, 27 (above, middle), and Samantha James, 26 (above right), were being held pending extradition to New Jersey, with bail set at $100,000 each, on robbery charges.

Detectives also obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Jamell Carmona (above, left).

They asked that anyone who sees Carmona or knows where to find him call them at (201) 944-0800.

One of the trio discharged pepper spray “in an attempt to distract and potentially harm the store employees” at Andres Liquor Store on Broad Avenue before they made off with several bottles of spirits around 9:40 p.m., Tamagny said.
