Officers Stephen Domenick and John Gallo pulled over the four-door 2010 BMW 550 for a traffic violation beneath the Fletcher Avenue overpass on Routes 1&9 (aka: Route 46) just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Capt. Robert Zevits said this afternoon.

Standing next to the sedan, both officers smelled raw marijuana, Zevits said.

After obtained the owner’s consent to search the car, they found the prescription slips in a manila envelope in the trunk, he said.

The owner, 36-year-old Ezell McFarlan of the Bronx (top row, left), was also searched after Domenick smelled pot on him, Zevits said. Domenick found him carrying a small bag of marijuana, the captain said.

All four occupants denied ownership of the blanks, he said.

The officers arrested McFarlan and the other three on charges of forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, receiving stolen property. McFarlan also was charged with drug and drug paraphernalia possession.

The others were identified as Brandi Ervin (driver), 35, of Johnson City (bottom row, left), in upstate New York, Elian McMillan, 30 (bottom row, right), and Precious Harper, 37 (top row, right), both of the Bronx.

They were ordered held on $5,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail while an investigation continues.
