Fort Lee Police 'Arrest' Cancer With Zumbathon

FORT LEE, N.J. — Members of the Fort Lee Police Department are donning their dancing shoes.

Detective Nick Mircovich, along with Administrative Assistant Melissa Cuello, have organized a Zumbathon fundraiser in May for School No. 3 sixth-grader Briana Lopez who is battling leukemia.

The event will be at the Jack Alter Community Center on Sunday, May 22 from noon until 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.

More than $22,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe page to benefit Lopez as of Wednesday morning .
