Fort Lee Acupuncturist From Englewood Cliffs Charged With Fondling Patient

FORT LEE, N.J. -- An unlicensed 70-year-old Fort Lee acupuncturist from Englewood Cliffs fondled a female patient, said authorities who arrested him.

Myung Ho Lee was ordered held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with criminal sexual contact and unlicensed practice of acupuncture.

The woman told Fort Lee police in early May that the married Lee "inappropriately touched" her during a treatment, acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Saturday.

They and members of Grewal's Special Victims Unit investigated, then raided Lee's Fort Lee Acupuncture and Physical Therapy office on Whiteman Road.

A July 1 first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack was scheduled.
