The 23-year-old borough resident was headed west down Chestnut Street when she lost control of the 2005 Lexus as she approached a severe turn in the road just before 6 p.m. Monday, Capt. Scott Tamagny told Daily Voice.

The Lexus barreled off the roadway, went over an embankment and landed on a 2010 Toyota Prius parked in a driveway, Tamagny said.

The driver, who was alone in the car, wasn't injured after responders rescued her, the captain said.

Borough police and firefighters responded, along with Englewood Hospital and Medical Center EMS.
