The victim was looking to buy pot from the pair, who were driven to a Teaneck Road 7Eleven by an unidentified woman just before midnight Feb. 28, said Teaneck Detective Capt. Dean B. Kazinci.

They got into a fight over money and one of the two smashed a liquor bottle over his head. Kazinci said. All three then took off in a silver SUV, he said.Police found broken glass and “several zip-lock bags containing suspected marijuana,” Kazinci said.

Anti-Crime Squad detectives quickly zeroed in on Tae Kim from Palisades Park, who was interviewed and charged with several drug counts. He was released without bail pending grand jury action while detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of Eric Kim, of Paramus.

He was arrested Monday night at his  job in Fort Lee and released on $5,000 bail, the captain said. He’s charged with aggravated assault, weapons possession and drug counts.

A lawyer for the driver, who police don’t consider part of the crime, is arranging to bring her in for an interview, Kazinci said.
