Authorities are hoping someone recognizes a man who robbed a Fort Lee bank of $1,700 wearing a dreadlocks wig.
The robber who hit the Marathon Bank at 2400 Lemoine Avenue shortly before 4 o’clock Monday is thin, about 6 feet tall, black, and roughly 30 years old, the FBI said.
He may have been wearing a fake mustache, as well, they said. And although his note threatened the teller, no weapon was show, the bureau said.
Authorities said the man gave the teller a bag that was then stuffed with money, then he hustled out.
A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
