Domingo Cesar, 29, was charged with DWI and child endangerment after police pulled over his black 2013 Ford in the eastbound bus slip lane before the lower level tolls around 2:30 a.m. yesterday, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said this morning.

“The officer speaking to him detected a strong smell of alcohol,” Pentangelo said, adding that Cesar also had bloodshot eyes.

Sleeping in the back seat were a 9-year-old and 5-year-old, he said.

All three were taken to the authority’s GWB administration building nearby after Cesar failed a roadside sobriety test, Pentangelo said.

A family member took custody of the children, he said.
