Body Of Man In Red Shorts Pulled From Hudson North Of GWB

FORT LEE, N.J. (UPDATE) -- Port Authority police were trying to identity of a man whose body was pulled from the Hudson River just north of the George Washington Bridge Thursday morning -- and determine how he got there.

The NYPD Harbor Unit recovered the body about a mile north of the bridge after a boater alerted them around 10:30 a.m., Joseph Pentangelo of the Port Authority told Daily Voice.

He was wearing red shorts.

"The investigation continues," Pentangelo said.

A Clifton woman jumped to her death from the GWB on Wednesday.
