Authorities Seek Help Finding Gunman Who Killed Paterson Man, 28

PATERSON, N.J. -- Authorities were searching for a gunman who shot and killed a 28-year-old man on a Paterson street.

The body of Ramon Mosquea was found outside 192 Godwin Avenue around 9:40 p.m. Monday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a joint announcement.

He’d been shot several times and succumbed to his injuries at 10:10 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, they said.
