LEONIA, N.J. -- Michael Robert Martin, of Leonia, died on Thursday, Dec. 8. He was 75.
He retired from Lucent Technologies. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #1, Leonia. He was an avid sail boater for over 35 years and sailed out of Englewood, Alpine and Newport Marinas. He was a former member of the Skyway Riders Motorcycle Club, North Bergen.
He is survived by his wife, Grace (nee Marschall); children, Barbara, Cheryl & Al Muniz, Michele & Jesus Marrero and Joann; grandchildren, Shannon, Alyssa, Trevor, Kayla and Jorgi Ann; great Grandchildren, Jayden, Uriyah, Gavin, Carli and Jaelyn; and a sister, Nancy Martin.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
