Daniel Buchwald, 93, Fort Lee Resident

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Daniel Buchwald -- a resident of Fort Lee, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Tenafly -- died on Sunday, May 29. He was 93.

Buchwald graduated City College cum laude and Beta Gamma Sigma, served in World War II as an Army Air Corps weather observer and was a CPA after the war. He was a partner in Warshaw Clark and Edward Isaacs & Co., from which he retired as a senior partner.

When he lived in Tenafly, he served on the boards of the Tenafly Schools and Temple Sinai. He also served on the finance committee of Englewood Hospital.

Buchwald is survived by his wife, Hazel; children Pamela and Gayle; and grand-children Natalie Garson, Miriam Garson and Summer Abrams.

There will be a private graveside funeral on Wednesday, June 1, in Farmingdale, Long Island. Shiva will be held Wednesday evening through Friday until Shabbat, at Hazel Buchwald's home, 1530 Palisade Ave., Apt 20 H, in Fort Lee. Eden Memorial Chapels, in Fort Lee, is assisting with arrangements.
