Carmine 'Rocky' Esposito, 87, Fort Lee Resident

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Carmine “Rocky” Esposito -- a Fort Lee resident, formerly of Cliffside Park -- died on Friday, Feb. 12. He was 87.

Esposito owned Quality Meats, in Fairview. Then, with his two of his brothers, Sam and Joseph, he continued that success with Esposito Excavating and Cliff Container Service.

Before he retired, he was a superintendent at the Englewood Cliffs DPW. He was also a member of the Fairview San Paulino Society and the Fort Lee VFW.

Esposito is survived by ex-wife, Marie Esposito; daughter AnnMarie Miranda and her husband Rene of Paramus; grandchildren Alex and Alissa Miranda; many nieces and nephews; and his companion Etta Potente.

He is the beloved brother of the late Mary Moccia, Sam Esposito, Nancy Sodano, Joseph and Anthony Esposito and Antoinette Ferrara.

Visiting hours will be from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, and 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave., in Cliffside Park. Funeral from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, with a 10 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Grace, 395 DeLano Place, in Fairview. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
