PALISADES PARK, N.J. — Just more than one year after Jiyoon Jim of Palisades Park died while on a personal watercraft tour of Key West, her husband has settled a wrongful death suit for $2.88 million, DailyBusinessReview.com reports.

The 33-year-old was struck from behind by Julien Trayno, from France, who was on a different personal watercraft tour with Fury Water Adventures, the report says.

He admitted he didn't speak English and had never been on a personal watercraft, and was riding negligently, according to the article.
