FORT LEE, N.J. -- Two different education-related sessions come to Fort Lee High School next week. The Fort Lee Board of Education is hosting a special public meeting on Monday, April 18, and there will be a presentation for parents about drugs on Wednesday.
On Monday, the BOE meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., in the high school media center. The meeting will then go into executive session, to discuss a personnel matter, then reconvene into the public meeting.
Wednesday, the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey will lead a "15 Minute Child Break" presentation at 6:30 p.m., in the high school auditorium. The session will discuss ways parents can prevent kids' substance abuse, while strengthening family connections. Parents of students of all ages are welcome.
