LEONIA, N.J. -- NJ Buddies, a non-profit relief organization, will bring a week of activities stemming from World AIDS Day to a close with its annual holiday brunch in Leonia on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The brunch at St. John's Church on Broad Avenue will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

It will feature meals by "Chef Uncle Joe" and Dexter, as well as a silent auction, TV raffle, "mystery" tricky tray and more.

Hackensack-based NJ Buddies operates group homes and provides a range of services for people infected with HIV and AIDS.

This week, the organization has focused on remembering those lost to the disease, while helping the living. Meanwhile, it continues to accept donations of clothing, books, food, and housewares to support the mission.

Brunch tickets are $15 per person or $30 for a family of four.

To buy them, call Ray at (201) 290-1539 or go to www.njbuddies.org.
