Leonia Arts Offers Suzanne Pancrazi Memorial Grant

LEONIA, N.J. -- Leonia Arts has established a grant in the name of Suzanne Pancrazi to be awarded to an artist or aspiring artist, 16 or older, working in any media.

Pancrazi, 62, a borough resident who grew up in Ridgefield Park, died in March. She was a film editor and owner of Subito Productions. She was also a member of Leonia Arts.

The grant will be used by the chosen artist to support a specific project or to expand on their body of work. The chosen project will be featured in an exhibit or performance organized by Leonia Arts and featured on the organization’s website.

The artist must live or work in Leonia.

The applicant must submit a proposal of no more than 500 words explaining his or her artistic endeavor and how the money will be used; three to five work examples; and a letter of support from someone who lives or works in Leonia.

Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2016 to the Suzanne Pancrazi Memorial Grant, the Craft Lounge, 324 Broad Ave., Leonia, N.J. 07605
