Ceres Gallery -- the first gallery in New York City devoted to showcasing and promoting the work of women artists -- will present Heller's paintings in its annual group show of member artists, which runs from June 22 to July 15.

"I am excited to participate in this show at Ceres Gallery, where I recently become a member," Heller said. "It is gratifying to have my work recognized by this illustrious group of women painters, and I am proud to have been chosen to join them."

Born into a family of artists, Heller studied at Oberlin College, Salzburg Mozarteum and the School of Visual Arts. She has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Israel and Cuba, participating in several shows in the New York metro area, Vermont, Massachusetts, the New Jersey shore and Florida.

In New York City, her work has been shown in the Montserrat Gallery and the Citicorp Building. Heller's work was also juried into the Chautauqua National Annual Show by Kim Foster, of New York City's Kim Foster Gallery.

Her artwork may be viewed at her website and at Saatchi -- and her art is now wearable, as well, through Vida.

The reception will run from 6-8 p.m. The gallery is located on the second floor of 547 West 27th St., in New York City. Subsequently, Heller's work may be viewed during the gallery's normal hours, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., with later hours on Thursday, until 8 p.m.
