Chinese Culture On Tap At Palisades Rotary Breakfast

RIDGEFIELD, N. J. -- Chinese culture is the special focus of the Palisades Rotary's breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Gotham City Diner in Ridgefield.

Those who attend pay for their own breakfast while being treated to an audiovisual presentation of Chinese culture and the Shen Yun Performing Arts and Classical Chinese Dance.

The 30-minute program explores the heroes, myths and values behind Chinese dance, music, martial arts and medicine. The Chinese New Year is Feb. 8.

The Palisades Rotary includes the three towns of Edgewater, Leonia and Palisades Park. Rotary members work on many programs, both locally and internationally.

All are welcome at the Friday meetings, which are held at 7:30 a.m. at the Gotham City Diner, 550 Bergen Boulevard, Ridgefield.
