Women's History Month: Fort Lee Film Commission Honors Pearl White

FORT LEE, N.J. — The Fort LEe Film Commission and the Palisades Interstate Park are celebrating cinema cliffhanger queen Pearl White's birthday on March 4 with cake and movie screenings.

The free, 8 p.m. party will feature a portion of "Pearl of the Army," along with clips from Pearl's many films shot atop Fort Lee's Palisades.

White's starring role in "The Perils of Pauline," filmed in Fort Lee, propelled her rise to stardom.
