iFLY recommends between 2 and 6 minutes of flight time per person. The first few flights are about understanding the basics of flying your body. The entire experience can last between 1 and 2 hours. You'll fly at least twice.

Before entering the flight chamber with a certified instructor, all flyers take part in a 30-minute training and practice session.

Here's how pricing works during peak hours for one person:

  • 2 Flights- $109.95
  • 3 Flights- $139.95
  • 4 Flights- $175.95
  • 5 Flights- $205.95

Upon arrival, iFLY provides flyers with all the gear they will need to fly, including flight suits, goggles and helmets. Flyers will put their flight suit on over their attire and then take part in a 30-minute training and practice session with certified instructors.

After that session, each flyer will take two 60-second turns in the vertical wind tunnel with one of our certified instructors, flying in a stable, wall-to-wall cushion of air.

From start to finish, the experience at iFLY takes approximately 90 minutes.

LIMITATIONS: Flyers must be at least 3 years old, and weigh less than 300 pounds. Those more than 260 pounds must contact the facility before flying. Those who are pregnant or have suffered shoulder dislocations should not fly, iFLY says.

WHERE ELSE CAN I FLY? iFLY opened a facility in Westchester, N.Y. in 2015, and another in Long Island is coming this year. The tunnels are the same size.
