Novak will present a program on Wednesday, July 20, based on her book "Keep This Toss That."

"I watch people put off getting organized until they have more time," Novak said. "I know you’re busy, which is why my ideas can be accomplished in five-minute increments. I believe we see success in bite-sized steps."

During the free, 2 p.m. event, Novak will provide tips and tricks to purge the paperwork, clean the closet and streamline your life.

Novak is known for her timer technique – "Why set a timer when you want to get organized?" she asks – and her tips have appeared in Woman's World Magazine and Better Homes and Garden's special interest publication "The Secrets to Getting Organized."

Novak has also blogged for Martha Stewart's Whole Living Daily and appeared on HGTV, QVC, News 12 and Better TV.

Copies of Novak's books will be free for checkout with a library card during the event.
