FORT LEE, N.J. -- A New York City street performer who won the 2015 Sinatra Sing Off will perform at the Frank Sinatra birthday dinner Saturday, Dec. 12 at In Napoli Restaurant in Fort Lee.

Marquiese Marc won the sing off, given by the Fort Lee Film Commission Saturday night, Dec. 5 at the GW Grill.

Tom Meyers, executive director of the film commission, noted the 116 Main St. restaurant is "Just a few blocks west from the former Bill Miller’s Riviera Nightclub atop the Palisades, where Sinatra performed in the 1940s and early 1950s and where he made his comeback during a two week engagement in September of 1953.

"Marqiese Marc is a multi-talented performer," Meyers said. He graduated from the Professional Performing Arts High School and received vocal training from classical singer Albert Rose. He has performed in the Apollo theater for Amateur Night, and at many venues in New York City. His specialty is classic songs, like those of Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

Newark police officer Tommy Scala was a finalist, and 2014 champ George Chartofillis attended to congratulate Marc.
