Brats, burgers, chicken schnitzel, pretzels and more will be served. Entertainment, jugglers, 50/50 and a tricky tray are planned. Tickets are $5 for adults and children are admitted free.
The event is from 4-11 p.m., rain or shine, at the American Legion Hall, 399 Broad Ave.
The event is a fundraiser to support the Weekend Snack Pack Program, an effort to combat childhood hunger in local communities. The project was brought to the Rotary when school nurses noticed children who complained of stomach aches and dizziness were the same children on a reduced-lunch program.
The nurse contacted the local food bank, and the program was developed to provide consistent nutrition.
Rotary of the Palisades represents members in Leonia, Edgewater, and Palisades Park.
