LEONIA, N.J. -- Everyone is invited to the 10th-anniversary celebration of "Sculpture for Leonia," on Saturday, May 1.
The event will include refreshments, music by the KGB Band and many of the artists, who will meet the public and talk about their works.
"We can't believe it has been 10 years since we got the idea to display public art throughout Leonia," the organizers noted. "This party is to thank the sculptors, the Borough of Leonia, Taste of Leonia participants, and all the donors, supporters and volunteers in the community who have worked with us."
There are now seven permanent works in town, either gifted by the artists or purchased and donated by generous Leonia residents. For a Facebook gallery of some of the works, click here.
The event will be from 2-4 p.m. at the Erika and David Boyd Sculpture Garden, by the gazebo.
