Leonia Players Guild Presents Free 'Something Opens Our Wings' Workshop

LEONIA, N.J. – The Leonia Players Guild will host a free workshop performance Thursday following its 8 p.m. guild meeting in the Civil War Drill Hall Theater.

The workshop, “Something Opens Our Wings,” will be a multimedia presentation centered around birds, created, directed and choreographed by Alison Miller. Music, dance and poetry will be presented by guild members, including Gabriel Borges, Elmer Cruz, Lisa Dahlborg, John Garbo, Dan Giordano, Lisa Katzoff, Tom King, Michael Larson, Alison Miller, Gina Montoya, Suzanne Renaud, Lisa Ruane, Denise Rysmendieva, Caitlin Schiro, Marilyn Tavoularis and Catherine Watson. 

The show also includes guest choreography by Michael Larson and Marc Leland, and musical arrangements by Catherine Watson, David Katzoff and Lee Farber. 

The Civil War Drill Hall Theater is at 130 Grand Ave., Leonia.
