Leonia Players Guild Performs Five One-Act Plays

LEONIA, N.J. -- The Players Guild of Leonia will present five one-act plays Jan. 22-24.

The following four comedies and one drama will be performed each night:

  • "Canker Sores." Directed by Chris Milone. Martin: Patrick Little, Prunella:- Sharon Podsada, Midge: Rachel Alt
  • "Funeral Parlor." Directed by Dori Perrson. Marcus: Brendan Bartlett, Widow: Madeleine Warren
  • "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls." Directed by Robert Klein. Amanda Wingvalley: Joanne Guarnaccia, Lawrence Wingvalley: Darren Carfano, Tom Wingvalley: Chris Caira, Virginia/Ginny: Rachel Alt
  • "Deaths Head Revisited." Directed by Ellyn Essig. Gunther Lutze: Bill Porterfield, Alfred Becker: Frank Osmers, Innkeeper: Sharon Podsada
  • "A Day For Surprises." Directed by Helene Marshall. Miss Jepson: Gilda Bettini, Mr. Falanzano: Frank McDonnell

Performances will take place at 8 p.m. Jan. 22 and 23 and 3 p.m. Jan. 24.
