Leonia Elementary School Organizes Classical Music Concert

LEONIA, N.J. -- The Anna C. Scott Home and School Association welcomes classical music lovers to "A Classical Evening," on Friday, March 18, at the Leonia elementary school.

The concert will be a great opportunity for student musicians to hear professional musicians in a family-friendly environment, a news release notes. The performance will feature musicians who have performed with orchestras such as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre and the American Symphony. Many have also appeared at major concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall.

  • Laura-Lindsay Sewell, violin
  • KeriAnn DiBari-Oberle, saxophone
  • Mark Timmerman, bassoon
  • Beth Robin, piano
  • Lauren Hosford, French horn
  • Daryl Goldberg, cello

Tickets are available in advance at Soloist Music, the Craft Lounge and Dante’s. Adult tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Students and children are only $1; children must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is limited.

Complimentary refreshments will be served following the concert. Proceeds benefit ACS. The concert will begin at 7 p.m., in the ACS Auditorium, at 100 Highland St., in Leonia.
