Fort Lee Library Offers Additional Spring Kids Events

FORT LEE, N.J. -- The Fort Lee Public Library is offering additional Programs this spring.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, for ages birth to five -- ongoing program -- Young children and their caregivers can read together, track the books and earn rewards along the way. Reading milestones will be highlighted on the Children's Room Reading Wall. Registration is required.

Family Movies For All Ages: "The Peanuts Movie" on Wednesday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m., and "Shaun the Sheep" on Wednesday, May 18, at 3:30 p.m.

Reading Rocks! book club -- Wednesdays April 20 and May 11 at 4:00 p.m., ages 8 and up -- Join the club, discuss some great books and work on fun projects. The club will vote on which books to read during the first session. Registration is required.

MAKER-Days: Wacky Windchimes -- Wednesday, May 4 at 4 p.m. -- Participants will experiment with different materials and make music.

Teddy Bear Tea Party -- Saturday, April 23, at 2 p.m., for all ages -- This is the library's eighth annual tea party, including stories, crafts and treats. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and dress up if you like.
