Fort Lee Commemorates 1776 British Invasion Of New Jersey

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Fort Lee Historic Park will host its annual commemoration of the 1776 British invasion of New Jersey and the start of the Continental Army's historic retreat to victory.

Fort Lee will honor its past with Revolutionary War events and remembrances.

The event will Saturday and Sunday and feature music, cooking, military interpretation and artillery demonstrations.

The entrance to the Historic Park is on Hudson Terrace immediately south of the George Washington Bridge.

Admission is free and parking is $5.
