Works by Wagner, Bruch and Tchaikovsky will be performed during the 7:30 p.m. concert by Yeon Kyung Joo (violin) and Yeonju Joo (viola) and the 55-member professional orchestra, under the direction of conductor Woomyung Choe.

Choe, a musician and medical doctor, said his vision for the orchestra is to continue to promote classical music and train young musicians to carry it into the future. The orchestra draws musicians from not only Bergen County but the greater New York and New Jersey area.

"I enjoy bringing serious classical music, affordable to everyone, to people of all ages in the local community," Choe said.

A highlight of the concert will be Max Bruch's "Concerto for Violin, Viola and Orchestra in E minor, Opus 88," which was originally composed as a clarinet piece. This arrangement with the violin, replacing the clarinet, features Yeon Kyung Joo, the associate principal first violin of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra since 2009, and her sister Yeonju Joo, who is also a member of Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.

Richard Wagner's "1845 Overture to Tannhäuser" will also be performed along with Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Opus 64 by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, written in 1888.

Tickets are $25 for general seating, and $20 for students and seniors. Children younger than age 17 and younger are free.

Tickets are available at the door of the auditorium at Fort Lee High School, 3000 Lemoine Ave., or in advance at W. Violin Shop, 1402 Bergen Blvd., Fort Lee. For details, call (201)-566-4947 or (201)- 947-5215 or visit the group's website or send email to bergensympho@gmail.com.
