The expected hike comes just one year after taxes fell for the first time in nearly 25 years, NorthJersey.com said.

Officials said the largest factors for the tax bump are increases in healthcare costs and the cost of serviced provided by the Bergen County Utilities Authority, NorthJersey.com reported.
